Alarm set via speaker - to set the alarm
• Ensure the unit is switched on
• Press and hold E for 3 seconds. The alarm indicator AL1 will flash on the display along with the hour display
• Press /\ and \/ to choose The correct hour, then press E to select
• Press /\ and \/ to choose The correct minute, then press E to select
• Press /\ and \/ to choose desired alarm volume setting, then press E to select
• The alarm indicator Al2 will begin to flash, if you wish to set this alarm - repeat the previous steps. Alternatively the BlackBox 24/7 will return to the main display after 10 seconds

To turn the alarm on
• Press E on the unit, or ALARM on the remote control to activate alarm 1, alarm 2 or both alarms (AL1, AL2, Both, Off)
• When alarm 1 or alarm 2 is activated, the alarm time will display for 3 seconds
• When both alarms are set, the main clock will remain displayed

To set the alarm mode
• The alarm must be active to change the mode
• Hold M on the unit for one second, the alarm mode will flash
• Press M to scroll through the options (iPod, FM, BEEP). Press E to select. The mode will automatically select after 3 seconds
• Alternatively press ALARM MODE on the remote control N.B. BEEP mode is a function of the alarm only. Setting the volume of the alarm will not alter the volume of the speaker when currently in use
