The laptop does have wireless built in so it is ready to surf in any wireless hotspot. If you want to turn your house into a hotspot you need a wireless router to connect to your own broadband connection.

Question from Anne: Asked on 28/04/2007 Would it be possible to get this machine with Vista Ultimate rather than Home premium for the networking advantages?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 30/04/2007
You could buy Vista Ultimate separately, and if you buy a pre-delivery inspection as well we'll install it for you during the process.

Question from James: Asked on 26/04/2007 I'm guessing the machine comes with the necessary installation disks for Vista plus having it pre-installed. Does the machine however have to come with Vista or would it be possible to buy the machine with XP Pro rather than installing it myself?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 27/04/2007
Sorry, installing it yourself would be the only way.

Question from James: Asked on 26/04/2007 Is it possible to get this laptop with Windows Xp Pro rather than vista? I'll also be pretending to do work whilst playing games!

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 26/04/2007
It would be fine for games as it is with Vista on it, but you could easily install XP yourself once you got it.

Question from Jono: Asked on 14/04/2007 Hi, could you please tell me why 2x512KB L2 Cache and not 1MB. Is this cache non-standard? Also which version of Geforce 7600: GS or GT? Thanks.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 16/04/2007
It is classed as 2x512 because each core has its own separate cache, as opposed to Intel dual core processors which share the total ammount of cache between both cores. The graphics card is a GeForce Go 7600, not GS or GT. Thanks.
