Question from MJ: Asked on 03/12/2008 Has the Asus X series been discontinued? The Asus website does not list it and there isnt any information about this X71 on the internet.

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 03/12/2008
Asus may have stopped making the X series but there are still plenty out there on sale. They also tend to take models off there website very quickly so I wouldn't worry about that.

So did I, but it seems like they are releasing some of them with a 1 year warranty now, it definitely says 1 year for this one.
