Fresh from there success with the EEEPC, Asus are not resting on their laurels when it comes to the full sized laptop market either and so we have the snappily titled X59GL.

Sounding like a washing machine part number, the X59GL is a brilliantly priced home entertainment laptop that houses a powerful Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at an impressive 2Ghz. This backed by 3GB RAM means this notebook does not hang about when it comes to downloading music, browsing the web or watching the latest movies on the 15.4" screen.

A DVD writer is on hand for backing up or burning movies and a large 250GB hard drive has more room than the penthouse suite at the Hilton.

All in all this is a marvellous machine for those wanting something fast that doesn't break the bank. Bring on the X59!

Some products come with the bluetooth light even though they don't carry this function as higher models in the range do have it and the chassis used throughout the range are generally the same..

Sounds about right. Most laptops with a 15.4" screen tend to have a battery life of around 1.5 - 2 hours. If you're looking for a longer battary life then go for some thing a smaller screen as the screen takes most of the charge.
