Easycom: HyperMemory is a system from ATi where a certain amount of memory is on-board and dedicated for the video card, and the rest is 'borrowed' from the system memory when extra video memory is needed - So in essence, the graphics is both shared and dedicated - The total amount available to the graphics card is 512MB.

Easycom: The best gaming laptops are those that have dedicated gaming GPUs such as ATi and nVidia chipsets with dedicated video memory. Integrated graphics chipsets are poor at 3D games.
