Question from Skulls: Asked on 05/10/2008 IF i were to remove Vista and install a distribution of Linux on the laptop would this void any warranty on the laptop?
If this does void the warranty, is there anything stopping me from using a different laptop hard drive i have spare and installing linux on to that drive to use (while keeping the hard drive that came with the laptop intact and saafe witht he shippoed OS) ?
then if the laptop needed to be returned i could put the original hard drive back in before shipping off.
