Yes, this is labelled as a Desktop Replacement as it has the power and specifications as high-end desktop machine yet compacted into a laptop chassis. I can not speculate on the FPS you will get on CS:S on maximum settings as we do not run these tests, but this laptop will handle the game easily.

You do not need to purchase anything else to watch TV with this laptop though a lot of customers find the Microsoft media center remote control useful. The optical drive is capable of writing both + and – formats.
