Easycom: These chipsets are actually very close performance-wise but the 8600GT is actually ahead in some tests despite being an older design - They will both offer fantastic performance with WoW.

Easycom: Yes you can remove the battery. As on all laptops and desktops there will be some fan noise, however it isn't loud to distract your attention. Sorry it comes with Windows Vista Home Premium only. Vista now works fine. There is also due a service pack out which will fix all the bugs you have been hearing about.

Easycom: Unfortunately these are not yet available as upgrades - You can always buy an external USB2 BD-RW drive as these have been available for some time.

12-May-2008 Katie: Can the operating system be downgraded to XP - Its not a question of bugs with Vista its a question of compatibility - I have various programs I use which will not run on Vista - please don't reply with all the bugs in Vista are now fixed (I just don't want to use Vista)

Easycom: Yes, you can install laptop on this machine. Driver availability may be an issue, but you should be fine.
