SteveF: The trial is generally 60 days. Unfortunately we can't downgrade any laptops with vista home premium or home basic although if contact Acer, they may be able to supply the drivers to do this yourself.

Matt: A 1.85Ghz processor is easily capable of playing a DVD, if it struggles then there is problem somewhere else in the system. You cant really upgrade them though like you can in a Desktop PC.

SteveF: You will have too hard drives showing when you look in - my computer. The smaller one is the recovery partition.

david s: Your right this isnt a gaming laptop, and yes they do. Have you considered the 6920 or 30 or even the 8920 or 30, and the 5920g and 5520g machines??

SteveF: No, it has a shared graphics card which means it uses other system resources such as the laptops ram to generate images. You would need something with a dedicated graphics card with at least 256mb of ram on the card such as a Nvidea Geforce or one of the ATi range.
