Yes, this laptop can handle games like Stalker at medium graphics at around 40 to 60fps as long as AA and AF are disabled. For better performance with the latest games, buy a laptop from the Gaming section of our site.

These two graphics chips are very similar performance-wise, as they are both designed for the same price bracket. The Mobility Radeon HD 3450 does have the advantage in most benchmarks though.

It is still a perfect option for graphics, video editing and gamming. The graphics card itself has processing power and 1.5 GHz is not too bad speed. It is good speed Core 2 Duo processor. I think it is a good machine in this price which can run heavy graphics programmes and games.
It's not a button, just a green bit of plastic that says Aspire on it.

Either will be fine surfing the net and email, for videos i would recommend the one with the larger hard drive as video files are quite large and so will fill up your hard drive faster.
