For that price you're not going to find anything better for the task. When editing HD video because its one of the most intensive you can do with a computer, the rule is you can't have a fast enough processor, ram and graphics card.

Its based on the gemstone blue design and is pretty much identical but doesn't have the cine dash media controls down the side. It comes with the blue lid etc.

The benchmarks show that on low settings crysis runs at 43.33 fps, at high it runs at 10.84 fps so it will play but probably best on medium settings.

It is only 32 bit vuista with that laptop which will use about 3.2-3.5 gb of ram. Why they put this in I don;t know but you'll be able to use the ram as you see fit.

Yes, you can connect it via the HDMI port. For games I would look to the graphics card more than anything else but a machine with 6mb cache will run faster than a 1mb cache on all tasks.

Not unless you sit down and look at the two laptops running at the same time. This model has 4Gb of ram so will be more thna adequate for editing photos and dedicated graphics card will run any of the latest games albeit, as qwith most laptops, at medium settings for the direct x 10 stuff.
