Easycom: This would be ideal, it has a better graphics card than the Sony model and so would be better for games.

Easycom: The acer has a better graphics card and is ideal for Sims 2 and add ons, unfortunately it doesn't come with office installed however we do sell this through our software section.

29-Nov-2007 jenny: Just spoken to someone for advice and now even more confused. I want a laptop or pc for my husband's xmas present which will be used almost exclusively for m.s. Flight sim 2004 which stipulates 8mb video card Direct x9 or later. I mentioned I particularly wanted xp and not vista and yet this was what was recommended. I would like at least 15.4 screen. Please can you point me in the right direction - I am willing to spend up to £700 if absolutely necessary.

Easycom: This machine would be fine, from what I have found Flight Simulator 2004 is compatible and will run on Windows Vista. The graphics card is more than adequate for this title. If you really want XP please call us and we will discuss your Windows requirements.

Easycom: I believe this laptop would struggle to run this game due to the processor speed.

Easycom: They will actually offer a similar level of performance in most tasks. The Acer Aspire Core 2 Duo processor will offer a little bit more battery life so it may well be the best choice.

Easycom: The laptop has 3USB ports and would be ideal for graphics and web design. The notebook has wireless built in which makes it easy to connect to the internet. As for the Vista/XP debate Vista is certainly the future however if you familiar with XP it may be easier just to stick with it.

Easycom: It isn't possible to upgrade the hard drive, the majority of laptops have 5400rpm hard drives, only a few of the top end laptops have 7200rpm hard drives for one of these your looking at around £1500+

Easycom: The LX.AY30X.049 has a 1.66Ghz processor, a 15.4 TFT widescreen and an NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 graphics card. The LX.AKU0X.063 has a 1.5GHz processor, a 14.1 TFT widescreen and integrated graphics.
