Easycom: It has 2 slots which are dual channel enabled. I'm not sure what configuration the 1GB that it comes with is, but with two identical 1GB / 512MB sticks of RAM it would definitely run in dual channel mode.

Easycom: The restore information is in a hidden partition on the hard drive, if you ever need to restore the machine please see the enclosed information booklet. I am presuming you are using the surfboard modem connect this to the wireless router you will need to follow the instructions with your router to set the connection up, however you will be able to use the laptop in different rooms to the router.

3-Dec-2007 Some technical issues: Hi, i'm experiencing some technical difficulties with the integrated keyboard, every now and then (sometimes quite frequently like 4 or so times in this parantese) the text halts then keeps going typing out what i just wrote while it was halted, i tried connecting a different keyboard and it works just dandy, so are there any new drivers or whatnot?

13-Dec-2007 CyberRick: Hi, you list the battery life of this product as 2 hours. Comet sell the 5315.075 and advertise this as 3 hours battery life. All the other specs look the same. Does the .075 have a better battery and / or is it different in any way from the 051 you show above?

Easycom: I cant comment on the Comet model, however according to the manufacturer website, all the aspire 5315 models have a battery life of upto 2 hours.
