The new Aspire 2920 is a clear example of Acer's Gemstone design meeting ultra portability. Tailored to meet the needs of the entertainment user on the move it comes packed with all the latest features on the market today and is powered by the Core 2 Duo Santa Rosa T5450 processor, with 2GB RAM and a massive 250GB hard drive, unbeliavable for a machine of its size.

It recently won the What Laptop "Best Sub 799 Laptop" where they said it "makes a great choice for the daily commute, thanks to its light 2.1Kg weight ans small dimensions, while offering enough feature to keep the home user happy." The 2920 really does offer best in class performance and portability.

Easycom: Yes.

5-Jan-2008 PLiyan: Is it possible to buy this alaptop with built-in Bluetooth?

Easycom: Not at this moment in time, perhaps in the future they will release one with bluetooth.

Easycom: Yes.

2-Mar-2008 pippa: I bought a laptop 1/3/08 I thought it was bluetooth enabled. Having taken it home, it does not have bluetooth connection.

Easycom: This is not a Bluetooth enabled laptop, although you could give it Bluetooth connectivity with the Veho VB-3881 USB Bluetooth adapter.

7-Mar-2008 NickW: Does the 2920 series have an infrared interface.

Easycom: Not as far as I am aware, there is no mention of it on the spec sheet we receive from Acer.

11-Mar-2008 Justin: In the Spec it mentions that this laptop is wireless LAN supported, however is the via USB adapter or is this buit-in to the laptop.

Easycom: This means it is integrated into the laptop.

Easycom: This is a different model in the 2920 range.

Easycom: The battery life is upto 4.5 hours depending on configuration and applications used.

Easycom: Why not have a look at product F3SR-AP074C although shared graphics memory it does have 128MB of dedicated graphics memory.

Easycom: this comes with an integrated graphics card, however should run the games specified fine.

23-Nov-2007 Ilya: What is the memory size of the graphics card and would it be able to handle latest games, something like need for speed pro street. Also how well does it deal with pixel shading?

Easycom: It is upto 358MB of memory 8MB is dedicated. This would struggle with the latest 3D games, i would suggest looking for a laptop with a dedicated graphics card.

Easycom: We only received an extended specification for this laptop yesterday. The previous specification did not show a card reader. However this does feature a 5 in 1 card reader.
