Question from Mick: Asked on 10/04/2007 Q1) Dpes the warranty cover replacement of screen due to dead pixels - and if so, how many have to be dead/lit before the screen is adjudged replaceable? (The warranty Terms&Conds make no mention of this.)
Q2) If the screen is faulty (as above, or faded/loss of colour/etc) and adjudged replaceable (by Acer), will this be free of charge only if the screen is undamaged? I.e. will a scratch on a crystalbrite screen incur a charge, even though the screen is unusable due to a manufacturing fault?
Q3) Is this warranty bundle available for 17" laptops?
