David J: specifications other than ram memory are set features directly from the manufacturer. So I would have to say no about the graphics.

SteveF: The normal keys are the same but some of the shift symbols such as " and £ are moved around and changed into dollar signs for instance.

David J: This laptop is wireless and will have a trial version of Microsoft Office pre installed. Full versions start from £65 dependng on which version is required

13-Jan-2009 Phil: As this machine is on the lower end of the spec scale, it may be "Vista Capable" but does it fall into any performance issues resulting from the heavy load of the Vista OS? My main worry is the exponential slowdown of start up and program response times with a machine of this spec

SteveF: I'd recommend upgrading the RAM. Microsoft say that vista needs 1Gb of RAM to operate fully, but as this machine only has 1GB, there will be nothing left for the rest of the system resulting in slow down. 2GB or above is fine and will stop any problems. David J: This laptop cannot be downgraded to XP, it would need to be a laptop on Windows Vista Business or Ultimate in order to downgrade to XP
