Superb, extremely flexible set with internet capability. This screens real skill is pin-sharp, blur free HD with pictures as cinematic as any plasma. With exquisite design and unique harmonious qualities, the New B650 Series LCD TV reflects natures essential elements.

Its inspirational design evokes the depths of emotion that have never been seen on a TV screen before. The combination of premium performance and aesthetic elegance makes for a truly stunning TV that sets new standards.

Featuring a full 1080P resolution and a massive 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, the picture delivers lifelike details and realistic colours that simply drip quality from the screen. The Digital Dynamic Contrast is also controlled by a variable backlight behind the panel. The internal dimming or brightening of the LCD backlight creates incredibly dark and bright images making for a clearer natural image.

The 6 series also introduced 100Hz Motion Plus technology to Samsung TVs. 100 Hz Motion Plus technology estimates and inserts an extra frame between frames to create a more comfortable viewing experience. The extra frame make images appear seamless to your eyes, and eliminates the motion judder and image blurring that can occur when watching movies and sports. Even the fastest action scenes are presented with precision and clarity meaning the big match will only appear blurry if watched after a few pints at the local.

Question from Ai: Asked on 02/03/2010 Can you confirm if this TV can play mpeg, avi and other video files direct from a USB hard disk or memory stick?

Question from Tom: Asked on 31/01/2010 Does this model have built-in wireless dlna network adapter? Thank you.

Answer from Mark: Answered on 01/02/2010
It's a dlna TV but you'd have to buy the Samsung wireless dongle to make it wireless. We currently do not have stock but expect more soon (date tbc). They're about £50

Question from Lee: Asked on 27/12/2009 I have been looking at the samsung TV range and have seen the LE40B650 TV advertised with 120,000:1 Dynamic Contrast.

In your specifications for this TV it says 50,000:1 for the contrast? Why is this? Is this TV not the LE40B650?

As i understand the earier model LE40B620 has a contrast ratio of 90,000:1, so it does not make sense to me why the higer model of LE40B650 would have a lower contrast of only 50,000:1?

Can you clarify this for me please

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 28/12/2009
Samsung do not actually publish any dynamic contrast ratio. They call they Ultra or megga. The numbers quoted are only guestimates by anybody

Question from Michal.K.: Asked on 16/12/2009 Do you have "black rose" colour as well( black with red stripe at the bottom)?

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 16/12/2009
No Black rose is for Currys only

Question from Steve H: Asked on 26/05/2009 The spec elsewhere for this unit states that it has digital audio out through optical / fiber (same for the images) - yet the spec on the site says that it's coax. Can you confirm please?

Answer from David J: Answered on 27/05/2009
