Questions & Answers

15/09/2012 Robert: I currently have a PIR in my living room and would like to replace it with something like this. I have run a cat 5 cable to where the PIR is. Will this devise also allow me to connect to my alarm system as well as my LAN. What are the connections on this devise?

Gavin: Hi, this camera is a spy camera, disguised as a PIR sensor.

It needs to connect to a normal analogue cabled system.

Thanks

06/09/2012 BNP: Can this product be connected to a PC via a USB video grabber? Is it a BNC output?

Gavin: Hi, this IP (Internet Protocol) camera will need to connect to a network and run off the software you will have on your PC. It will connect via an ethernet (CAT5) cable.

Regards

12/07/2012 Yasin: Hi, I'm looking for something that records when movement is present and stops when movement is not present, does this devise do that ?? Thanks.

Gavin: Yes, all our DVR's have this feature.

02/02/2012 Christine: Is this easy to install? Does it need to be near to a power socket? Does it need to be connected to a tv/laptop constantly to record images? does this supply a time and date on the images? Thanks

Gavin: Hi Christine, this camera needs to plug into either; a TV or monitor for live viewing, or a DVR (digital video recorder) which will record the footage being captured.

Regards
