The Kodak ALARIS S2080w is an A4 sheetfed scanner that is perfect for large enterprises with a mid to high volume of scanning. It’s a desktop document model that is networkable, accurate and fast.

With an 80 sheet automatic document feeder, the ALARIS S2080w has a maximum daily duty cycle of 8,000 scans, covering most high volume office environments. With a scanning speed of 80 one-sided pages per minute, and 160 images per minute (IPM), you won’t be hanging around for long.

Top-class connectivity

This scanner is full of modern connectivity features, such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB. The onboard processor ensures high levels of accuracy and speed, particularly when dealing with image enhancement and correction. Kodak’s Perfect Page software also enhances page straightening and optical character recognition (OCR). Wi-Fi Direct is a peer-to-peer wireless network that enables connection to the scanner via mobile devices that aren’t themselves part of the standard network.

Comprehensive software and accessories

A whole range of included programs helps your business get even more high-quality productivity from the scanner. ALARIS Capture Pro Software is a program enabling powerful scanning, indexing and data management, that allows you to index and organise your scans as you go along. If you have more than one ALARIS scanner, Kodak Asset Management software uses a client dashboard for selecting and maintaining each individual scanner.

The 1.5-inch touch screen allows full control over the configuration options, workflow profiles and other features. You can even operate the scanner via the web or your local network, due to the built-in HTTPS (SSL) secure Web server. ALARIS Capture Pro even has instructive content on the scanner itself, so you can easily learn how to use the scanning system while you’re physically doing it.
