The Details

A simplified rig for DSLRs and other accessories that comes with an Arca-Swiss compatible, extended quick-release plate and removable hand grip. The Hand Grip with UltraPlate 208 opens a world of configurations for your DSLR or mirrorless interchangeable lens camera.

Light-up Your Scene

With the addition of the Locking Arm and Universal Flash Shoe, your flash or video light can be placed up an off at almost any angle and can be set up for portrait or landscape.

Be flexible with your LED video lights. This light rig makes it easy to set up and modify for your needs. The UltraPlate 208 and Locking Arm and/or GorillaPod Arm with the Universal Flash Shoe will give you a range of configurations. Need more options? Rig for Action Video

Sometimes we have to multi-task. Do you need to shoot action video while capturing stills or close-up video with your DSLR? Add a Locking Arm or GorillaPod Arm to mount an action video camera and place it where you want it. Even if you are shooting with a long lens, you can swing the action cam out and forward to get a clean frame. For mounting a GoPro, add the Action Adapter Kit for increased flexibility.

Place a Mic + LED

Video rigs can get very complicated. For a nimble, lightweight and flexible set-up, use the Hand Grip with UltraPlate 208 to mount both lighting and an external mic. The Universal Flash Mount plus Locking Arm adds the extra cold shoe you need to mount both a mic and LED light at the same time. Configure additional secondary arms with the Hub Adapter or Action Adapter Kit to create solutions in the moment for whatever you need.

Expand Your Mounting Options

Use the Hand Grip with UltraPlate 208 as a simple video stabilizer. The comfortable and sturdy silicone and aluminum Hand Grip provides a solid hold and stabilizes hand-held video. The Hand Grip also adds a ¼"-20 mount for use with a secondary arm and accessories. Quickly mount this rig to a tripod without having to change your hand-held set-up.

Use with any tripod mount. Even if your tripod isn't Arca-Swiss compatible, simply screw your favorite quick-release plate into one of the extra mounting holes on the UltraPlate 208 and you're ready to shoot! The UltraPlate 208 also works great with most monopods, steadicams, flash brackets and camera straps. Attach a strap via one of the plate's ¼"-20 mounting holes or the dedicated strap slot on the baseplate.
