The 1 year warranty that comes as standard with these ranges is 1 year of carry in service. This warranty will give you 3 years of ThinkPad on site cover. This means that if you need to use the cover, an engineer will typically be with your business the next working day.

The warranty has been designed by ThinkPad as a fixed term, fixed price service that is ordered at the same time you order your laptop. Once an electronic ThinkPlus order is placed you receive a unique registration number to enable on-line registration.
