The Gigabyte B360M DS3H mATX motherboard comes with one PCIe x16 slota PCIe x4- and a PCIe x1 slot.
The M.2 slot is connected via four PCIe 3.0 lanes and supports the NVMe protocol and, in combination with a compatible M.2 SSD, this enables a transfer rate of almost 4 GB/s. That is roughly eight times faster than an SSD connected via SATA 6G! Additional drives like SSDs, HDDs and optical drives can be connected using six SATA 3.0 ports. Up to 64 GB of memory clocked at up to 2.666 MHz can be installed in the four DDR4-DIMM slots.
The I/O panel of the Gigabyte B360M DS3H offers four USB 3.0 ports. Additional peripherals can be connected via two USB 2.0 slots.
A DVI-, D-Sub- and HDMI- connection for display output from the CPU's integrated graphics, and these ports are located on the I/O panel. For onboard sound, the motherboard comes with three 3,5 mm jacks. In terms of internal connectors, the board includes among others a TPM- and COM-port-, Power-LED- and speaker header, three fan connectors, two USB 2.0- and one USB 3.0 header. An RGB-LED header is available to allow users to light the black motherboard with RGB strips and RGB fans, this can be controlled via Gigabyte RGB Fusion.
