he Billion BiPAC 7800DXL is the latest addition to the best-selling Billion 7800N router family, a future-proof fibre ready Triple-WAN Dual-Band wireless modem router ideal for demanding home and SOHO users, an all-in-one high performance advanced device including concurrent dual-band Wireless-N (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Gigabit WAN and LAN, 3G/4G LTE support, and NAS (Network Attached Storage) in one unit. The 7800DXL supports current “superfast” fibre connections (FTTC), such as BT Infinity, upcoming “ultrafast” fibre connections (FTTP/FTTH/FTTB), and current cable and ADSL2+ networks such as Sky, Virgin and TalkTalk, with a WAN throughput in excess of 600 Mbps (EWAN). The rock solid top-of-the range Broadcom chipset comes with SNR adjustment for tweaking ADSL lines for optimum performance, in most cases increasing stability and speed, especially important on long lines. In addition the USB port will support 3G/4G LTE connectivity via selected USB modems with the router supporting failover functionality between WANs. With Dual-Band wireless technology, the 7800DXL supports multiple-demand applications, such as streaming HD videos and multiplayer gaming simultaneously. The powerful processor in the router allows for wireless users with multiple laptops, phones and tablets to connect effortlessly without breaking sweat or fear of disconnection. Running both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands at the same time, the router offers ultra-fast wireless speeds of up to 600Mbps, with external WiFi antennas for greater coverage, and up to 4 SSIDs on each band.
