Questions & Answers

15/03/2013 Jonathan: Hi, Will this work with a synology NAS? Also is there a limit to the length the power cable maybe extended?

Gavin: Can not advise on a NAS as we can not advise on products we do not sell. Power and video can normally run a good 50m at least, then possibly further depending on cameras, a 2A PSU should manage to run further as well.

25/09/2012 Jackie: Is this simple "plug and play" equipment for an IT thickie?

Gavin: I would say so yes. Cameras plug into DVR. DVR plugs into monitor. If you need Internet access to your footage you should give us a call to discuss the details.

07/08/2012 Pauline: Hi does this camera system sent you sms alerts?? if not can you point me to one that does ? Many thanks

Gavin: Hi Pauline, when the DVR is networked it can send you emails, not SMS. On a smart phone there wont be much difference though.

I am not aware of anything that uses SMS instead.
