The WG-30 features a Heavy-duty construction that is waterproof to 12 meters and shockproof to 1.5 meters. A new 16 MP CMOS sensor with new Imaging Engine captures high quality images and 6 Macro lights help with close up photography. A full range of outdoor accessories is also available for increased possibilities.

Achieves high image quality even when shooting underwater, night scenes, and landscape Inside the compact body of the WG-30 are a five-times optical zoom lens with an approx. 28mm wide-angle coverage (in the 35mm format) and the imaging power of approx.16.0 effective megapixels. With a back-illuminated CMOS image sensor with a high-performance image processing engine and low-noise performance, wide dynamic range shooting is possible. A more evolved mermaid mode, suitable for underwater shooting, minimizes color cast underwater with optimized color reproduction.

Heavy-duty construction, waterproof to 12 meters and shockproof to 1.5 meters

The WG-30s rugged, airtight body is ready for harsh, demanding outdoor conditions. Its not only waterproof down to 12 meters and dustproof against sand and smudges, but shockproof against falls from heights to 1.5 meters, freezeproof to temperatures as low as -10?, and crushproof against weights up to 100kgf (kilogram force).

Remote operation with a smartphone via Wi-Fi

WG-30 Wi-fi is equipped with the Wi-Fi function. You can perform settings for remote shooting, verification of captured images, etc. through the Web browser from information terminals such as smartphones.
