Customer Questions and Answers

03/02/2010 .: Hey, what does it mean 'not compatiable with wireless networks'. Does this mean that if you own a broadband wireless router, it will effect it?

mark h: It will depend on a few things, mainly the distance from the camera to the receiver and the position of any wireless routers in relation to this. If its a long distance, say 20m and you have a wireless router in between the camera and the receiver its likely that it will cause interference, if its 5-10m generally it will be ok. Obviously there are wireless networks everywhere now so its impossible to get away from them. In the vast majority of cases the wireless cameras will perform to a high standard with a decent image, but to achieve 100% reliability in all situations you would need to go for a wired option.

27/05/2009 Wing: Hey, what does it mean 'not compatiable with wireless networks'. Does this mean that if you own a broadband wireless router, it will effect it?

17/12/2008 Ryan: Hi, is it possible for me to display the views of each camera in a different screen with the receiver? Do I have to buy another splitter?

sajidH: To display the separate views of each camera you would require an extra receiver. This set up will display both cameras on the same screen only.

04/12/2008 Alfred: I am interested in a system consisting of 4 wireless cameras and recording system, preferable only with motion detection. What would you recommend?

sajidH: The motion detection is controlled by the DVR so any of these wireless camera can work with motion detection. For a 4 camera system you would need 2 of these kits, a DVR, and cables. As everyone's individual requirements vary it would be best if we could provide you with a quote. If you call the sales team on 0844 412 4503 they will be able to assist you further.

01/12/2008 AMACLEA1: Hi there I am interested in being able to connect Wireless camers up to my PC software that can monitor any activity and effectively date and time stamp any activity and make it readily viewable without having to replay hours of footage - do your systems connect up to PC's and software that supports that?

Regards Angus Maclean

sajidH: It depends more on your hardware than software. The Goscam wireless cameras and receivers will connect if you have a video card with RCA or BNC connections. If you have a package such as Geovision, Icatch, Axis then you will be fine.
