Focusing on maps and map reading, this CD is packed full of high quality ordnance survey maps and photos. Interactive exercises are used to teach the student how to understand and evaluate maps. Using methods such as drag and drop, these exercises also teach the user how to draw sketch maps and how to interpret them. Within the program, you can go on a virtual 'visit' to Boston in Lincolnshire, where all of the skills you have learnt are put into practice in a 'real' environment. The Physical Geography elements of the syllabus are supported by sections on Physical Features, Settlement Sites and Land Use.
