Question from Johnny: Asked on 02/07/2008 I just got this TV from your store. I have tried a RF cable in the 'TV in' input and it only picks up 4 channels which is very strange and they are all fuzzy barely watchable. I then tried connecting via RF into the 'digital TV in' input and that just picks up no channels. Then i tried setting up both inputs to receive freeview and it just won't pickup any channels. What's wrong. I am using a standard RF TV aerial cable. Please help thanks?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 03/07/2008
Initially, I would have your aerial & reception checked out. Even though you may be in a region to receive Freeview you may need to have your aerial upgraded.

Question from fred: Asked on 01/07/2008 Regarding the teco ta3271rw 32 inch you say standard contrast ratio is 1500;1 yet you also say that dynamic contrast ratio is 1500;1 i thought standard and dynamic were different. Am I wrong? if so I stand corrected

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 02/07/2008
Both are different. Standard Contrast ratio is the actual contrast ratio where as dynamic contrast ration is achieved by enhancement.
1500:1 is the standard contrast ratio.

Question from mark: Asked on 19/06/2008 Teco TA3271RW 32 Inch HD Ready LCD TV - TA3271RW
I notice that this tv has got built in Freeview. Silly question, but if your signal comes from a sky dish, does this still work

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 20/06/2008
Satellite signals require a satellite decoder such as a sky box or freesat box. Freeview requires an RF Co-ax input from a standard house antenna.

Question from Zain (MAN UTD DA BEST): Asked on 14/06/2008 Hi, i just want to know if this HD TV will work perfectly with the Playstation 3?

Question from Jessy: Asked on 01/06/2008 Will this tv still work when we go digital??

Question from fannyspank: Asked on 01/06/2008 ok - i haven't got a clue about LCD's tv. So is this set full HD - 1080P? And is this a decent enough set for the money as opposed to spend on something for twice as much?

In short should I buy this set for a short term investment until i can afford a bigger brand name in two years?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 02/06/2008
This is not a full-HD (1080p) set, instead it is HD-ready (720p and 1080i). This is a great value set and looks and performs as well as sets twice the price.

Question from paulie: Asked on 28/05/2008 Hi, I recently brought the Teco 40 inch, TL4091RW, which i'm delighted with. I want the 32 inch version of this TV really, or the closest thing. Answer from Easycom: Answered on 28/05/2008
This is definately the one to go for, it has an integrated digital tuner unlike the TL3291RW.

Question from Tom: Asked on 09/02/2008 I have just purchased this TV and although the Analog tuner works fine the "inbuilt" digital tuner picks up no channels. When i plug in an external Digital tuner it picks it up through that, why does the inbuilt tuner not work?

have you run the auto setup

Question from Dave W: Asked on 07/02/2008 We purchased this TV earlier in the week. Having set it up, it looks like a good purchase and am happy with the picture and sound quality. Sky works fine through either scart socket. However when using a normal aerial cable and then trying to scan for channels with the built in Freeview, no channels can be found...

I then plugged a 3rd party Freeview box into the scart socket (using the same aerial cable, but plugged into the 3rd party box) and it finds all the channels ok. This suggests a faulty receiver inside the TV. Any ideas before I phone Direct TV's for a swap out ?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 07/02/2008
sounds faulty

Question from Graham: Asked on 05/02/2008 Can you confirm whether the TECO has EPG, 2 of you replies seem to contradict each other. One says YES one says NO ?. If NO will a PVR enable me to record off Freeview?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 01/02/2008
1366x768 does not support 1:1 pixel mapping, on any make of TV. you have to have a screen resolution of 1920x1080 to get a full screen 1:1 pixel mapping. On a 1366x768 screen, to get 1:1 pixel mapping you will have to set the resolution to 720p and have a smaller image and then you would have to be using it as a monitor or displaying blu-ray. As foe epg yes it has

Question from Graham: Asked on 31/01/2008 Hi,
I wonder if you can give me a little help, I have purchased a Phantom Plus PVR to connect into a VCR SCART socket to record off the Freeview on my TECO TA3271RW Television. The instructions say to fill in the Freeview personal planner with the programs you want to record, i cannot find a personal planner in Freeview and Phantom Plus say not all Freeview's have this facility. Can you confirm yes or no and is there a way round it?

By the way still impressed with the TECO TA3271RW Television for the price

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 31/01/2008
sorry no it doesn't have epg. the only way round would be to have a DVD recorder with it
