Following on from the hugely popular Sony Vaio S series, the SZ71 is the latest in business, powerhouse portability.

For a start, the VAIO SZ has all of the extra features a business user will need, from an integrated microphone and Webcam for video conferencing to a fingerprint scanner for security. Thats not to mention a solid array of components such as an 2.0Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and an Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS graphics card - which can be turned off to preserve battery life, as this unit also ships with a integrated Intel graphics chip inside.

The battery life lasts an impressive 5-6 hours and the 160GB hard drive gives ample storage space for a laptop that weighs only 1.9KG.

A 13.3" widescreen has the legendary X-black technology that keeps the picture looking crisp, vibrant and more importantly readable without loss of contrast or colour and Bluetooth and Wireless capabilities keep you connected whilst traveling to the next meeting.

With all this and a DVD burner on a unit that shouldn't be able to house half features it does for the size, Sony have achieved what they set out to do and produced a truly mobile work horse that looks sexier than any office equipment should be allowed to!
