Easycom: It has integrated graphics with shared memory, it does have speakers.

Easycom: It's a 1.3mp camera. The battery life can range from 2 to 4 hours depending on use. To maximise battery life, reduce screen brightness and remove CDs from the drive that are not being used.

Easycom: It should be fine with most graphics applications, although I dont think all the 3D effects in Vista will be available with integrated graphics.

Easycom: It depends entirely on what you want it for. The spec is much stronger on the samsung, in terms of processor speed, RAM, storage and bluetooth. It is also £70 cheaper, and much more mobile at almosthalf the weight of the Vaio. The Vaio, on the other hand is a better entertainment laptop as it has a much better graphics card and a 17 inch x black screen which is much better than the oneon the samsung. If i was choosing it would be the samsung. But, since I don't know what you want it for I can't give you a definative answer. If you want to get back to me and tell me what you want your laptop for I can be more helpful. But, if it's entertainment you want then

Easycom: Unfortunately not.The Vista home premium drivers are not compatible with XP. If the laptop has Vista Business or Ultimate then give our sales team a call they can organize a downgrade.

Easycom: I agree, especially for university the samsung's impressive mobility will be much appreciated when you have to carry a load of books too.

20-Aug-2008 Mikel: With the smaller laptops. Is there anything that is taken out to kinda make it smaller when compared with other laptops? How well does it function with a wireless connection?

Easycom: Nothing really in terms of spec as the Intel core 2 duo is quite a light energy effcient processor. The heaviest part of a laptop is the screen so the only difference across the board is that mobile laptops have smaller screens.

28-Aug-2008 anders: I am looking for a new laptop, How durable/ well built/ reliable are these samsungs? i used to have a small thinkpad which was built like a tank, and am considering the r61e, but i really wanted a smaller unit and saw this.

Easycom: Samsung are a very good quality of laptop and extremely well built.

Easycom: Thats right. As long as you have a wireless router, it will work straight out of the box.

Easycom: All laptops generally come with a trial of Microsoft office but a full version will need to be bought should you want to carry on using it.
