Lenovo have a reputation for making great value laptops that are some of the most reliable around.

This N200 multi-functional wonder is no exception. Armed with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo technology, the new 2.1GHz Penryn processor combines fantastic performance with considerably reduced power consumption, which means you get extended battery life as well as lower energy bills.

There’s plenty of room for all your important files and loads more too on the impressive 160GB Hard Drive.

Here’s an example of just how much you can store on this surprisingly spacious Hard Drive:

- Up to 45,700 photos
- Up to 4,000 MP3 Songs
- Up to 80 Hours of DVD quality video

The 15.4 inch widescreen display and the nVidia Go 7300 graphics card means that whatever you’re watching will be presented in mesmerising detail.

What’s more, the brilliant set of features such as the DVD re-writer and 1.3 megapixel webcam help you take advantage of this screen in your spare time as well as at work, as you can watch all the latest movies and have video calls with loved ones with the minimum of effort.

Also, since it’s fully wireless and Bluetooth capable you can do all this on the road too.

Comments, Questions and Answers

Main Product Comments, Questions and Answers

16-Mar-2008 missK: Does this laptop have a webcam at all

Easycom: According to the tech-spec, this laptop has an integrated 1.3MP camera.

5-Apr-2008 MC: Will the 1 year warranty still be valid even after self-installation of the free 1GB memory upgrade?

Easycom: Yes, memory upgrades do not void warranties.

15-Apr-2008 Bruno: Can I order it with XP. If not, does it come with drivers for this OS?

Easycom: you should be able to get XP drivers from the manufacturer, if you want to change operating system please call our sales line, it can only be done on phone orders and only on certain machines.

16-Apr-2008 Alan: Can this product be supplied with XP pro instead of Vista?

Easycom: Operating system changes can only be done on orders taken over the phone, our sales line should be able to help you out.

7-May-2008 jose(Dublin): does this laptop have memory card reader and how many usb devices ?

Easycom: This laptop has a 5-in-1 card reader and 4x High-Speed USB2.0 ports.

9-May-2008 Buban mian: How long does the battery last? In tec specs only says, it comes with 6 cell battery.

Easycom: That's correct - 2 to 3 hours depending on use.

23-May-2008 paul: does this have a european warranty as i will be taking it to spain

Easycom: Yes, the warranty is valid in Spain.

29-May-2008 LBK: The Lenovo web page states that the max ram for this model is 4gb and yours states 3gb. Which is correct. Also, I run MS Office 2003 on my current XP model. Will it run on this? or would you support a downgrade?

Easycom: It will support 4GB with a 64 bit operating system, but in 32 bit windows the most you can get is 3GB.

25-May-2008 Gleison: Hi there is the 256MB Graphics card dedicated?

Easycom: Yes.

5-Jun-2008 kti lrwence: Are tv tuners compatible with this model?

Easycom: Yes.

4-Jun-2008 zeee: this is IBM laptop rite if so then i didnt see ibm logo can you please bit more specify

Easycom: IBM dont make laptops any more, Lenovo bought the thinkpad brand off them, so you'll see Lenovo's name on them instead. They bought the whole lot, so they are still made and designed by the same people, still top quality stuff.

18-Jun-2008 Adex: How does the 'Lenovo Care Customer Carry-In- extended service agreement - 3 years' warranty work in the UK? Have I got to physically take the laptop somewhere or post it? If so, where in the UK is this place? Is there an onsite warranty equivalent? I would not want to put my business on hold whilst Lenovo try to fix a problem!

Easycom: The carry-in warranty means you pay the postage to send to Lenovo. Alternatives include the Collect and Return warranty (includes postage costs both ways) and the On-Site warranty (speaks for itself). These are available in the Warranty Packs section of the site.

24-Jun-2008 jim: is the graphics card upgradeble

Easycom: No, it's not possible on any laptop as they are part of the main circuit board, not a removable card like a desktop PC.

23-Jun-2008 john: Does this machine come with any software other than the OS.Will software presently used with XP OS work with Vista on this machine

Easycom: Most software will now work on Vista, there are very few programs that are still incompatible, none of them mainstream.

9-Jul-2008 kepola: hi, I was wondering if this computer will let me play FIFA 2008, and if the warranty is valid in Poland, thanks

Easycom: It should play Fifa 08, and the warranty is valid in Poland.

23-Jul-2008 Marty: Does this laptop have an integrated microphone?

Easycom: No.

28-Jul-2008 ug: HOW MUCH DOES DELIVERY COST?

Easycom: The cost of delivery varies from a free one week delivery to a next day pre 9:30am delivery at £34.95 Thanks

28-Jul-2008 Marty: I ordered one of theses and got it last week....the answer to my question on 23rd July is incorrect, this laptop does have an integrated microphone, it is next to the status lights and the track-pad. I have used it for Skype.

Easycom: Thanks, we will amend the specification on our wevbsite accordingly

27-Jul-2008 tansmurf: Is this laptop under warranty when it is being used in area outside of EU?

Easycom: Unfourtunately, our warranty for this product does not extend out side the EU

28-Jul-2008 AndyH: Can this laptop take 2 HDD's? Also, What is the maximum capacity (320GB?) HDD that this laptop can handle and is it SATA II compliant? If you require XP, is there an additional cost involved? Thanks in advance for your help.

Easycom: It only has one internal hard drive slot, a second one would have to be external. There is no realistic maximum capacity, I'm sure the biggest one you can find will work. Some SATA 2 drives will work through backwards compatibility and some wont, best way to be sure is to use a SATA 1 drive. If you require XP it would have to be purchased and installed separately, as Vista is pre-installed at the factory.

30-Jul-2008 milans26: can i change settings for czech language or czech typing on this laptop?

Easycom: Yes you can, within Windows.

4-Aug-2008 PS: Does this machine come with a recovery CD?

Easycom: you have several options. 1. you can ask us to make you a recovery disk at an extra cost 2. there should be a partition on your laptop which allows you to recover factory settings of certain programmes 3. you should have the cpacity to make your own back up disk on the laptop

3-Aug-2008 marcus: How does the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 compare to the nvidia geforce 8600 gs??? Which laptop wold be better for gaming - this one or the acer 5920g LX.AN60X.041????

Easycom: The 8600GS is superior to the 7300, the difference would be very noticeable.

8-Aug-2008 Docrex: this laptop comes with 1Gb memory. How many free expansion slots does this leave for memory up grades

Easycom: There are two slots, leaving one free.

20-Aug-2008 shan: What exactly is the double memory offer on the RAM? Is it a free upgrade?

Easycom: It's a price on upgrading the ram, please call our sales team for further info!

21-Aug-2008 Diana: I'm a Peruvian girl, and i want to know if you would deliver to PERU. How much is the cost of the delivery...? extra charges...???? and by what courier please? and how many days... Have I to wait to received the laptop here in Peru??? pls URGENT!!!

Easycom: Sorry, just UK and Europe for deliverys.

11-Sep-2008 Rich: This Laptop was previously supplied with Windows XP, If I ordered it now would it come with an XP downgrade disc?

Easycom: No, the only machines that generally come with a downgrade disc are the notebooks with Vista Business pre-loaded. This is because the drivers for the two operating systems are the same. Vista home premium requires completely different drivers from XP and so is a lot harder to downgrade.

11-Sep-2008 Rich: Can I buy this laptop with upgrade to Vista Business? If so, How much?

Easycom: Yes you can, see product number 66J-00023 for the upgrade price.

15-Oct-2008 Simon: Can you explain please the specification of the DVD player in this model. I want one with a DVD RW SuperMulti Dual Layer for +/-. Does this model satisfy that requirement? Many thanks.

Matt: From what I can tell, it doesnt, and if it does then Lenovo have failed to mention it anywhere. I would look at a different brand as most other laptops these days will do that.

19-Oct-2008 Anna: I have an old paralell port printer that currently works off XP. Will I still be able to use it?

Matt: You would need a USB to Parallel port adapter cable for it to work.

19-Oct-2008 ian: The product specification indicates a built in stereo microphone but your response to a question on 23 Jul 08 indicates there is no microphone. Which is correct please as it is important for video calls?

Matt: It does have a built-in microphone.

26-Oct-2008 jen2007: Do you provide Windows Vista OEM DVD media with laptop, or is it factoryinstalled? What if i want to reinstall Windows Vista?

Matt: It is pre-installed, if you want to re-install it then you would use the system restore which will return it to factory settings.

29-Oct-2008 josh: I am thinking of getting this laptop very soon. I know there is 20 in stock but if they do all go before i get one is there anyway of ordering one from you.

SteveF: If they have come to the end of line then no.

24-Jun-2008 M Davidson: Very pleased with this laptop however buyers should be aware that the 1GB offer takes up to 60 days for delivery and the laptop is crying out for more ram from the first time you turn it on. I have put in 2GB extra and it's running a treat for me now.
