31-Mar-2007 scooper: It works well in the front room where my tv is but as soon as i move my laptop elewhere i can not receive the channels, if you then want to scan for channels it wipes all the ones it already has stored also came with one aerial and not the two as displayed on the box

Easycom: This will be because the TV signal is stronger in your front room than other parts of the house. It is normal for any TV tuner to wipe existing channels when you perform a new scan.

3-May-2007 Mark: Having used a few USB Digital tuners, when I received this one I was amazed at how well it worked picking up nearly all the channels. I would strongly recommend this Hauppauge dual tuner over a normal single one, especially in low signal areas.

Matt: It will be compatible, you shouldnt need any other downloads unless it needs a driver update or something.

8-Dec-2008 Richard Jones: The information gives the impression that there is a sound card included. I have a laptop which presumably already has a sound card so do I need to fit another one which would be diffficult? I ahve used a previous version on my desktop and fitted a sound card at that time.

Matt: This is just a TV Tuner, all laptops have onboard audio built in, this will just run through whatever existing setup you have.

SteveF: No but there is a tuner a little further up the price range that will allow a cabled connection between your sky box and the pc therefore allowing you to record from that source.

SteveF: No, all our laptop/tv produts are for use in the UK only. Think of it as a freeview box for your laptop, if you took a freeview box to India or Austria, it wouldn't work as it runs off uk tv signals.
