CompuCover is suitable for individuals, companies and educational establishments that wish to insure their IT equipment against theft, accidental damage, fire and flood. The policy has no excess, provides world wide cover and a rapid claims service.
CompuCover is specifically appropriate to the laptop user, covering their equipment anywhere in the world, including whilst in transit. This is good news when CompuCovers statistics suggest that approximately 72,000 laptops are stolen each year and 108,000 are damaged.
If your equipment is damaged, CompuCover will have it picked up by courier from anywhere in the UK, inspected and repaired if possible. If your equipment is beyond economical repair or has been stolen, CompuCover will replace your machine on a like-for-like basis.
CompuCover will never supply a lower specification model and if your machine is no longer on the market, CompuCover will supply a model of equivalent specification.
CompuCover insurance options are simply broken down by the length of cover required and equipment value including vat.
