Question from John: Asked on 20/09/2008 I am looking to acquire an Acer 5900. Is this product compatible and do I need a separate wireless card fitted to the laptop ?
Question from alan: Asked on 16/08/2008 I have just purchased an Acer Aspire 7720, with Vista (Yuck).
Will this laptop talk directly to this router, or do I need some kind of adapter ?
My home network uses a cable modem, connected via USB to a desktop PC, and two more desktops, and the new Acer, connected to the first PC via a Belkin 5-port network switch (model FD5131).
What other hardware do I need to make the whole network wireless ?
There is an unused ethernet port on the modem.
Thanks for some advice and guidance.

Would this product enable me to connect on a wireless laptop and also use the existing router to continue using the desktop PC? Is it easy to connect as there is only one free USB point free in the back of the router - is this okay?
