Question from dar71078: Asked on 12/09/2008 I am looking to use this router with Virgin broadband and connect my laptop to it. What range does this have as i want to be able to use the internet on the laptop wirelessly from anywhere in the house?

The router will have a range of at least 50m so you'll have no problems connecting anywhere in the house. (As long as its not an old country mansion.)

Question from Mooks: Asked on 21/08/2008 I am just about to buy the Aspire 7720G and currently have talk talk broadband. Will this router be ok? If not what would be suitable within £10 of this price range?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 22/08/2008
This router will be fine, as long as your TalkTalk modem has an ethernet port (some only have a USB port). If your modem does not have ethernet, you will have to arrange a free modem upgrade from TalkTalk. If your modem has Ethernet already then it is a simple case of connecting the router to the modem, then rebooting the modem.

Question from Karim Ali: Asked on 24/11/2007 Hello,

I have Virgin Broadband (UK) Will this router really work with cable instead of DSL/ADSL? I will know for sure if I could see the back of it. You got any images of this? It's like circle thing, you insert into an NTL Set Top Box or sky. Hope you got the idea I got:(

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 28/11/2007
This router is designed for a cable broadband connection. With you internet connection you will have a modem that the circular cable will go into, and from this an RJ45 cable will go from the modem into the back of the router.

Question from caz: Asked on 16/11/2007 hi i have just brought an aspire 3694 notebook from you will this work with both the notebook and my desk top (whitch is adsl from pipex broadband)

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 20/11/2007
As you have ADSL you will need an ADSL router as this is a cable router it will not work. However you will be able to connect both device providing they have either ethernet or wireless connectivity.

Question from Ravi: Asked on 29/10/2007 Do you have any router that suport both ADSL and cable?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 03/11/2007
No.
