30-Apr-2008 Carl: If i have a ADSL broadband Router, would this laptop find it (use the internet) without using the USB dongle?

Easycom: The USB dongle is for bluetooth connectivity (e.g. to a mobile phone or similar mobile device). To connect to the router you would use the integrated wireless network adapter. You may need to connect it to the router with a standard network cable to set it up initially dependant on the existing configuration

Main Product Comments, Questions and Answers

19-Feb-2008 KL: Could this laptop be used to play sims 2? thanks

Easycom: I think it would struggle with the 3D graphics in that game.

8-Mar-2008 Patricia Oliver: Assuming that I buy the V5535 , will I be able to set it up in the hotel where I'm staying ? It has wifi in the bedrooms . At home I have not as yet got a wirless router tho' AOL keep pestering me....and I have no experience of wifi , tho' I reckon i'm pretty computer literate ! Truth is I'm addicted to Sudoku and have to have my daily online fix....but what shall I do when stranded away from home for 5 nights ? Hoping you can advise .

Easycom: You would be able to use the wifi in the hotel without needing anything else. It should be very straightforward to get connected.

1-Mar-2008 A Carter: Does this product have VGA connection, and a phono IN socket?

Easycom: Yes, this laptop has a Line IN/Microphone socket and a VGA connection.

11-Mar-2008 anon: Would this computer be suitable for surfing the net, loading photos and downloading music for my ipod?

Easycom: Yes, this laptop will have no problems doing any of those.

25-Mar-2008 maura duffin: we have bought thsi product but cannot get it to go online. apparently there is a button to press (where?) the one tha might be a button won't budge. we received no handbook with this p.c. and would have been lost unless we had computer knowledge. is there a shortcut to enable us to use the internet? help!! please

Easycom: I believe you hold down the Function key and press F1 to turn the wireless on, and do it again to turn it off. The function key should say 'Func' or 'Fn' on it.

25-Mar-2008 mrs collins: Does this product come with an installed modem? If not, where do I get one from? I have an Orange Live Box - Does that mean I can hook it up to the laptop and it will go online, or do I need to buy a modem to install on the laptop? Please advise! thanks

Easycom: The Orange LiveBox is a modem in itself - This laptop has a network socket to connect to your LiveBox via a wire, it also has integrated wireless - which means if your LiveBox supports wireless networking, then you will be able to connect this laptop to it without a wire.

25-Mar-2008 keith lightbown: can i use this laptop on a dail up connection abroad , if i need any accessories what are they please

Easycom: This laptop does not have a dial-up modem integrated. Ideally you should buy a laptop with an integrated 56k modem such as the Dell Inspiron 6400. Alternatively you can buy an external USB 56K modem.

5-Apr-2008 tm: does it have duo core? why is it so cheap , is it actually any good?

Easycom: Hi, this machine does not have dual, core, that's just one of the reasons why it's so cheap! It depends what you want it to do, you wouldnt be able to play most games on it.

12-Apr-2008 Dan: I am looking for a laptop less than £300 that will be good for online gaming, web search for homework ect.., i would also like to use it for playing games on, i know the other comments say it will not be good enough but with an extra GB would that make a diffrence, i am not talking brand new games as i have a HP Pc for that but just games that pass the time :) Does it come with the Microsoft Office Programmes or not? Thanks Thankyou

Easycom: It wouldnt be able to play things like call of duty etc, but should be fine for web and flash based games. Upgrading to 2GB of RAM can only help. It doesnt have a full version of Office but sometimes they have a trial version pre-loaded. The full version would have to be added separately.

16-Apr-2008 David: Does this have an intergrated camera?

Easycom: No.

20-Apr-2008 Linda: I have bought the Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5535 and tried to play a dvd but it would not play through Windows Media Player. What am i doing wrong?

Easycom: It sounds like a software related issue, have you installed all the latest Windows updates? If that doesnt fix it you could try the Fujitsu help desk on +44 (0) 8702 434397 for technical support.

29-Apr-2008 Mike: Can you play world of warcraft on this laptop?

Easycom: No.

9-May-2008 GB: My boyfriend lives in Tunisia and wants to keep in contact with me via msn or skype. If I bought this laptop can it be used out there with a good link back home to me?

Easycom: Yes, this laptop will have no problems at all with that software.

12-May-2008 Jeffrey Slama: Is it possible to buy the 3 year warranty for the FujitsuSiemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5535 - Celeron M 530 as well ? If yes, does it cover things such as battery damage or battery problems ?

Easycom: Yes, you need FSP:GB3C00000GBNBL - This covers all faults (including battery) - It does not cover accidental damage.
