sjp:
when its says up to 1GB hyper memory what does that mean? which is better to go for hyper or dedicated.
Easycom:
Hypermemory is a combination of dedicated and shared memory. when the shared portion is not needed by the graphics card it acts as normal system memory so is not reserved. In this case 256MB is dedicated and the rest is shared. 1GB dedicated would be better than 1GB hypermemory, but 1GB hypermemory with 256MB dedicated is better than just 256 dedicated on its own.

MarkP:
Hi,
Does this have blootooth - it's not mentioned here, but is in the PCPro review.
Also, the PCPro refers to the graphics card as X2500, not X2400 - is this the same machine (Oct 2007 review)
Many thanks,
MarkP
Easycom:
No the machine has the X2400 graphics card, and Bluetooth is a manufacturing option asnd our machines do not have Bluetooth.

Will the graphics card in this model handle newer Direct 10x games? Also which is the better choice out of this laptop and the 5720G-302G16 (LX.TK30X.033). Thanks.
Easycom:
I believe the X2400 is more suited to direct X 9 games as reports of direct x 10 games run slowly. I would say the LX.TK30X.033 as it has a newer graphics card and has a faster processor.

What would you recommend, the Acer Travelmate 5720G-302G16Mi, the Asus F3SC, or the Acer Travelmate 5720G-302G16 (noting that it has been discontinued)
Easycom:
Both have very similar specifications however the Asus has the better graphics card.

I notice this laptop doesn't support 802.11n (draft) wireless. Do any acer's?

We have many acer laptops that support Draft Wireless networking. Few of them are ( LX.AP50X.309 , LX.ANU0U.106 , LX.AK10U.037, LX.AHL0X.050 )
