22-Apr-2008 Sam: Is it possible to use the display on this laptop as an external display ? For example would I be able to plug in an Xbox 360 or PS3 into it via the HDMI port ? Thanks.

Easycom: I'm not sure if that would work, it's purpose is to output to a HD TV making the laptop a blu-ray player.

7-May-2008 ses: does this model only play blu ray or play and write your own blu ray disks?

Easycom: The drive in this laptop plays Blu-Ray discs, but also writes to CDs and DVDs. It does not write to Blu-Ray.

20-May-2008 Steph67: Do you actually have this in stock? The release date was touted as May 20th, but other sites are saying that stock has yet to be received from Acer. I pre-ordered this unit elsewhere, and expected delivery today, but now can't get a delivery date as they tell me they don't know when they'll get these units from Acer. If you do have this in stock, could you guarantee delivery within 24 / 48 hours?
