SteveF: Yes it will although as with most laptops (which aren't as powerful as there desktop counterparts) this will probably be on medium settings at best.
15/07/2009 jonboy: I see that this outputs to 5.1 audio. Does it also have the dts simulating speakers and subwoofer that other similar models have? also, i presume it has the standard multi-card reader built into the front of it? finally, is there a built in microphone?
SteveF: Yes to all of those although the 6530 range doesn't come with a sub.

SteveF: Yes its got a 32 bit operating system but this can be upgraded as the processor is 64 bit. The more expensive of the two models has a faster processor.

I want to watch my Blu Ray movies on my TV and I know it has HDMI output but I want my sound through my Dolby 5.1 Speaker Sysetem
SteveF: If you use the HDMI lead, the sound will travel down the same lead meaning you can't split it off and run it through a separate set of speakers.

SteveF: The audio card is so bod standard there isn't even a model number for it. If you're wanting something decent then buy an external sound card. It has a 3.5mm jack for headphones or computer speakers.

David J: This model comes with blu-ray but cannot be removed. It will still read and write normal DVDs and CDs. The graphics card has 512MB

SteveF: The graphics is VRAM which draws from system resources, it has a webcam but not bluetooth from what I can see on the acer website. You can buy a usb dongle to give you bluetooth though.

SteveF: No but a resolution of 1366 x 768 does mean it has a higher resolution than 720P which is its still high def, just not the top 1080P.
