The setup will work with both devices operating wirelessly though you will notice a general speed improvement if one device is wired and the other wireless. It does not matter which way round.

It has a HDMI input, the input needed to display all true HD resolutions, including 1080p, and the TV has the correct resolution.

This has nothing to do with TV's. This is a Digital format for improving the sound quality of pre recorded CD's
