SteveF: Yes it would.

13-May-2009 Ian: Silly question, but does this cover all components in the notebook?

SteveF: Yes it does. The cover is for electrical and mechanical breakdown. The power lead and battery aren't covered.

simon: Proof of purchase would be required to prove it's not more than a year old.

simon: Pls call 0845 683 2823 to confirm which is the correct pack. Don't want to mis advised you are HP warranty codes are very over complicated.

Paul: No HP can confirm the code for the correct pack to enter into our site on 0844 369 0369. HP warranties codes are very complicated so want to mis-advise you.
