9-May-2007 ????: Does this replace my existing memory or will it add to it

Easycom: It depends on the configuration of your machine. If you have a free DDR slot then it will add to it, but if all your slots are full it will have to replace one of the current modules. Chances are your current RAM modules will each be of 256MB or more in size unless the machine is a few years old, so this would probably be no use if all your slots are already full. RAM upgrades can be complicated so we would always advise you to call our Sales department unless you know exactly what you need and how to fit it.

7-Apr-2008 Angela Power: Will it invalidate my warrenty if I open up the laptop and put this in myself?

Easycom: Depends on the manufacturer of the laptop - All the manufacturers we deal with do not void warranties over RAM upgrades.
